Who said GF had to taste like cardboard?. We found this bakery online and wanted to stop by while in town. We got a cinnamon swirl loaf, sugar cookie, snickerdoodle, cinnamon rolls, and an apple streusel muffin. So far the things we tried have been AMAZING! You would not know they were gluten free. Wonderful taste and texture. I love that everything there is gluten free so you don’t have to worry about cross contamination. Will definitely be visiting again!

Love it!. Love Eleanor’s bake shop! I won’t go anywhere else for gluten free food. NOTHING even comes close to how they’ve perfected gluten free baking. It’s nice to forget i’m eating gluten free! Thanks Eleanor’s!!!

Happy Mouth :). Words cannot describe how happy my mouth was when I finally tried Eleanor’s last week. I had the Beef Brisket Arepa with BBQ sauce….OH.MY! It was soooo good. I also had the Baked Potato Soup and a Blueberry Sour Cream Cupcake. Nice big portions and delicious! Friendly faces, great service and good food. You can’t ask for more. Even gluten-eaters will love it! I have been meaning to try Eleanor’s for over a year and I wish I wouldn’t have waited. It is completely worth the long drive.

Amazing Food/Fantastic Service. I have gluten issues, but my family doesn’t. The average person would not know this food is gluten free as all the food is incredibly delicious! Most of the soups are okay, but the broccoli soup is wonderful. The cupcakes are divine! This is a family run business and everyone has been so friendly. I cannot say enough good things about this place!

Arepas, Baked goods…Amazing. Soups…not so much.. I went into Eleanor’s with my dairy free husband and we both enjoyed an Arepa. My husband had the beef brisket and I had the chicken salad. They were delicious, but small for the price. My husband complained afterwards that as much as they had assured us that the Arepa was dairy free, that he felt like he had been cross-contaminated. This was disappointing to me since I would think that a place that deals with food restrictions would be more aware of other allergens than other places, especially when problems with dairy and gluten often go hand in hand.I went back with a friend and tried a soup and Arepa meal. I had the Taco soup, my friend had the creamy potato. While it was nice to know that everything was gluten free, the soups were really disappointing. Mine was over seasoned and was way too heavy on the ground beef and my friend’s was under seasoned. The soups tasted cheap and second rate. We both agreed that for soup we could make something much more worth the price at home (though maybe we just caught them on a bad day?)That being said….THE BAKED GOODS ARE FABULOUS! I had a cookie, my friend had a cupcake and a cake pop and they were all delicious. This is what Eleanor’s does best. They recently introduced bread and sweet rolls to their menu and I’m excited to go back and try these out as well.

Totally gluten free. This bakery and cafe is all gluten free. You do not have to wonder if there may be some cross contamination like so many other places I have eaten at. The food is the best gluten free food I have ever tasted, you won’t miss the gluten.
