Pleasantly surprised by the egg drop soup. Different than anything I’ve ever had but very good.
If you are getting a dinner for two try the bobo platter and a side of wontons. The plum sause is amazing.
My favorite. The egg drop soup is different then every other Chinese food restaurant and is SOOOO delish!!! I love this place! The Cantonese flat noodle is also the bomb! and they are nice enough to let me order it on the lunch special menu even though it’s not on there.
I love Joy Luck! The food is always fresh and delicious! The staff is very friendly and knows me by name and what I like to order.
Kung pao chicken. Chicken with some kick, but not too much. The kung pao chicken is to die for. I love the juicy chicken and firm zucchini in this dish. They also have the best egg drop soup I’ve everr tried. I like the minimalist decor and friendly staff. We’re always greeted with a smile and they owner is friendly and remembers what you order. We keep on coming back.
Didn’t love it. We recently moved to the area and have been searching high and low for a good, go-to chinese place. This will not be it. The food was bland and the fried rice was particularly disappointing. The search will continue as we definitely won’t be returning.
Good pad thai. Excellent pad thai, but everything tends towards the salty side. It’s cheap enough to be a good ‘on the way home from work’ type place, but not so good that you’d want to go there specifically for dinner.
