What happened to the fries?. Used to go to the Habit back in SoCal. Always good for a quick work lunch. Loved the fries; thought the burgers were okay.This place got it the other way around. The fries were very disappointing – crisp to the point of being hard. And they seemed thinner than I remember. Made me sad. Fry sauce was good, and I like that they give you ranch if you want.The burger, OTOH, was very good. I tried the Santa Barbara Double Char – two patties, cheese, avocado, grilled onions, pickle, tomato, lettuce, etc. on grilled sourdough bread – and really liked it. Great combo of flavors…like a grown-up double-double. Still just a fast-food burger, but one of the best, IMHO.
