Simple, unpretentious, with a bit of locals attitude. Great simple sandwiches at awesome low prices. The best selection of single-serve chips in town and a drink selection to match. Service is fast and friendly. Best place for a quick, but delicious grab and go lunch.

Classic sandwich done right!. What makes a great sandwich? To me it all starts with the bread. No matter how good the meat is bad bread is the fastest way to YUCK. The bread these guys use is AWESOME!!! Be it wheat, white, marbled rye or 7 grain. They are all good with the texture that says the bread is fresh and great flavor. My personal favorite is the Wheat!I’ve had pretty much ever sandwich on the menu as this is one of the closest places to work and it makes for quick escape when I can’t seem to break away for lunch. My personal favorite is the Smoked Turkey with Avocado. The sandwich has plenty of meat and the avocado is spread on thick. The cheese they use is thick sliced which adds to both the texture of the sandwich and to the flavor. I can actually taste the Swiss cheese and feel it when you bite into your sandwich. I usually finish mine off with lettuce and tomato. (I’m pretty simple and don’t want too many things over powering the taste of the turkey and avocado.)A full sandwich will be more than plenty for most people and I often find myself ordering a half and getting a cookie (Made by Cookietree) and a bag of chips for a well rounded meal.As for the soup I recommend the chili or the cheesy cauliflower they are my favorites and both are tasty and worth trying. This is a great little place were the two owners are usually working the register. If you frequent the place they will ask how you are doing and how business is which adds to my desire to continue to support the local business. As mentioned in other reviews sitting is all outside so not ideal for winter but on a nice spring or fall day it is very pleasent to sit on the picnic tables outside and enjoy your sandwich. This is the place you go if you want classic sandwich for lunch.

Quintessential Market!. Love love LOVE this market!! They have everything a market should have. Huge variety of individually bagged chips, huge variety of refrigerated beverages, huge variety of candy, fresh fruit, fresh bagged vegetables, and of course sandwiches and soup! The sandwiches are incredible! You have the option of choosing a sandwich off of the menu or building your own. Choose from nine different meats, six different cheeses, six different breads, and a bunch of different veggies. The tunafish sandwich is one of the best tuna fish sandwiches, the veggie is HUGE and so pleasing, and the imitation crab and avocado is dreamy. They also offer salads, chili and hot dogs. Definitely the perfect place to build the perfect lunch.

Turkey and Avocado….mmmmm….. I heard about this place on Twitter, and had to check it out. Very reminiscent of Grove Market, which is located just a little more north on Main Street. I asked the lady at the sandwich counter what the most popular sandwich is, and she said the turkey and avocado, so I had to try it out. It was a very large, very filling sandwich. Ingredients were good quality, and the bread they use for their sandwiches is so good that I went back in after eating my sandwich and bought a loaf to take home. The sandwich was very good, and a great value. They also feature homemade soups, which I’ll have to try next time.I was speaking with (I think) the owner, and they have been in business around 20 or 30 years. It’s great to see them surviving, especially in this environment. One word of warning: they have NO indoor seating, so either plan on eating your sandwich on a picnic bench out front, in your car, or back at the office.Check Town and Country out. I’ll definitely be going back.

Delicious!. You wouldn’t even think this place serves food from the outside. It’s located in an old garage, but at lunch time this place is jumping. They have some of the freshest ingredients for sandwiches and I have never been disappointed. The Havarti chesse is outstanding. Great place to drop in and grab a sandwich and soup, but be prepared to take it home or eat in your car because they don’t have any seating.

Lunch. Great sandwiches at a resonable price

One of the best sandwiches I have ever had. Fresh local product, mom and pop kind of place. Limited dine in area, more for take out but the good food is what keeps me coming back!
