We decided to go here after reading the good reviews. BIG MISTAKE! This place is scary, we wanted to walk out, but the owners caught us. Upon entering we could smell a nasty smell, the floors were dirty with rice and napkins and they had just opened. The grill area and the area behind the bar was dirty and greasy. Our table was sticky, dirty. We were served water in small clear plastic cups, once we ordered or meal was prepared in a small unseen area and to our table in about 3 minutes maybe less, which explains why our food was cold, no doubt it was microwaved. The curry had a layer of grease floating on top. As for the taste, it was just so so, it was hard to get past the filth. Our appetizer of Pakoras came half way through our meal and it was burned, dry and mealy. I can honestly say the best thing was the naan. We will not be returning!
My boyfriend and I recently came into this resturant and I have to say it was some of the best food I have ever had. The couple who owns and runs the resturant were so incredibly nice and friendly! They really make their food with love. Don’t let the interior turn you away, trust me, the food is amazing! Try the mango smoothie! It’s so good!
Amazing Flavors. I don’t normally write reviews, but I felt like this place deserved one. My brother and I have been in the mood to explore some of the more diverse cuisines and we stumbled across this place. We were not disappointed at all. We asked for recommendations and went with a rice and chicken dish in addition to two kabobs. We had the option of spice levels (which ended up being hotter than I expected, but this didn’t detract from the flavors). The food itself was beyond spectacular. I could not believe how amazing everything tasted, and the couple running the place were beyond friendly. Overall, I loved the experience and I will most assuredly return to try some of the other dishes.
Great Locally-owned Place. The owners were nice to donate food to a law school event at the U, so I decided to head over on my own. When I got there, I didn’t know what I wanted because, aside from the event, I had never had Pakistani food. The owner walked me through the menu and figured out my tastes and spiciness preferences, then made my food from scratch according to what I told her. Awesome place with people who actually care about the quality of the food and pleasing the customers. I’ll definitely go back!
Fantastic!. This is must try food. The two owner/employees do it all; cooking, serving, busing, etc. The food our group had was all cooked fresh and was absolutely delicious.
