Bad food and abysmal service. Wow. Terrible food and even worse service. We ordered the boneless chicken curry and keema roti (hamburgerish) sandwich to go. Kinda glad we didn’t sit down–the place is filthy and the health dept would have something to say about the kitchen. The cook said our order would take less than 10 min and it took 30. At the register we showed her an Entertainment coupon and she refused to accept it. She said I needed to call them and ask them to stop printing coupons without their consent. The irony is we wouldn’t have known about them were it not for the Entertainment coupon. I was tempted to walk away but agreed when she took off $5, not to mention she raised her voice in front of everyone in the restaurant. When we got home, we discovered how awful the food was. The curry was nothing more than stewed tomato sauce with chunks of fatty chicken, and the kebab was greasy with a funny flavor. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.
Best food served by best people. This food has flavors like I have never found anywhere in Utah. I can’t get enough of it. To make it better, the people who own it ate the nicest folks I’ve met in the restaurant business. Just tell them what you like and let them come up with a dish for you while you talk to them about their fascinating lives. I love this place.
