This place seems to be a local favorite and for good reason the food is good. That being said, if your from New Mexico this is NOT, let me say again, NOT, green chili. I asked the waiter if the Verde salsa was jalapeo or green chili and he said green chili, he was wrong. I ordered the enchiladas and had them add an over easy egg, that how I’m used to it and it was ok. I got a strange look but that’s how I roll. The portions are huge. Previous commenter have complained about service and yeah it is slow and not the best but if your just here to eat, you won’t even notice.

We waited over 10 minutes and none greeted us at table . There were two waitresses who made eye contact and one was even cleaning up table next to us. Finally we had had enough . I went to talk with manager and was told there wasn’t one I said there has to be someone to talk to. Will never return . Horrible customer service . All they have is excuses . Your in the food business if you can’t handle the crowd then maybe you shouldn’t be in the business . Or at least have a sign hanging saying you may get served or you may have to wait were to busy to provide friendly fast service.
Our first try and definitely out last!. We were greeted at the door by a horrible odor that followed us all the way to our table and lingered throughout dinner. The bottom line up front is that we wanted to find a good Mexican Restaurant in Springville, but were disappointed to discover that the food is far from authentic or even a reasonable facsimile. To top it off, the Fajitas weren’t even skirt steak, but instead BBQ marinated stew meat. I could go on, but suffice it to say that you should travel into Provo or Orem to eat good Mexican food. There’s a reason that the menu prices are so cheap at this dive.
Won’t seat you unless your whole party is there. I don’t know what their point is but they refuse to seat you until your whole party is there. This is just bad service from the start. They mentioned that it was because during busy times they don’t want to fill tables that won’t be used for a while however there was hardly anyone in the restaurant when I went
Horrible hostess. If your whole party isn’t there they WILL NOT SEAT YOU! It is to the point of me giving a one star to actually a really good tasting Mexican restaurant. The hostess was extremely rude when we asked to be seated, and then she kept glaring at us until everyone arrived. There were 7 of us and we honestly would have gone somewhere else if we had had the time. It’s super rude. They need to change the rule. I understand if it was busy but there was barely anyone at the restaurant. Absolutely ridiculous.
Great food. I love this resturant. The food is good. The chips and salsa are great. My only thing I do not like is they will not seat you until your entire party is there. That is not friendly.Mary
Poor service. I was one of three friends getting together for lunch. I arrived first–the other two were running a few minutes late. There is a bench for people to wait on, but it was occupied, so I asked the hostess if I could be seated (there were a lot of empty tables). She would not seat me until the others arrived. That seems like it would be a fine policy when your restaurant is busy, but they were not. Unfortunately, there was literally no place for me to stand where I wasn’t in the way. I had to shuffle around whenever anyone came to the cash register to pay for their meal, and the hostess kept shooting me dirty looks until I finally left and called my friends to meet me somewhere else. Very poor service in my opinion and they lost three diners that could have gone to one of those empty tables (today and in the future) if they had treated us better.
