Food just ok not amazing. Everything tasted the same. I really dislike when they put salad dressing on the tacos but that is just me. The service was good but the food just did not make me want to come back.

Phenomenal, Cheap and Fun. La Casita in Springville, Utah has been around a long, long time, and it’s easy to understand why. These guys do Mexican right.Entrees are reasonably priced, most under $10.00. Even the specials and their huge list of combination platters rarely go over $15.00 – and you get what you pay for. Unless you’re Paul Bunyan or really, really hungry, be prepared to bring leftovers home. They start you out with endless chips and salsa, but go easy – you’ll want to save room for the good stuff. I’ve eaten Mexican food since I was a kid in New York in the 50’s, and I’ve only found two other restaurants in my life that live up to the quality I find here.If you’re a drinker, the Margaritas are divine – the tequila is abundant (so I’m told, being teetotal myself.). The soft drinks are large and bottomless, the service attentive, and the atmosphere homey. The place can get a bit noisy, but that’s only because there are usually so many people enjoying the food.Today, for instance, I had a combination with a tostada and a tamale. Now I’ve eaten a lot of tamales over the years, and so many mexican restaurants give you dry, tasteless masa with not much inside and not much outside… not La Casita, theirs is stuffed with tender, shredded meat and covered in succulent sauces. Their frijoles refritos (refried beans) are to die for.If you’re ever in Springville, Utah, visit La Casita. You won’t be sorry you did.
