Not worth the money. I went to Magleby’s with a nice coupon that got us about 25% off of our meal. I was super excited to go, as I was taking my brother there for his birthday. What better present than an outing to an upscale restaurant? Well, it wasn’t so great. At the end of the meal, even though we got no appetizers, and no special drinks, along with no dessert, our meal came to $32 WITH THE COUPON! Not to mention it didn’t fill either of us up. I am an 18-year-old guy, and I understand that most regular portioning doesn’t fill me up. But when I pay $16 for some Chicken Marsala, it had better taste REALLY good, or there’d better be a lot of it.Unfortunately, the meal just so-so. The waiter was nice but didn’t ever go out of his way to really make sure our meal was good.This restaurant was a painful experience for my wallet, and an unsatisfying experience for my stomach. I can say without ANY doubt I am never going there again unless I go with someone loaded with cash who’ll pay for everything. Even then, the food quality isn’t worth the time spent waiting for it.However, the restaurant looks amazing. Course, it doesn’t matter if the food is under par.

Magleby’s is still amazing for dessert, baked brie, shrimp, chicken marsala, breadsticks, etc. But nothing beat your buffet. I visited the Grotto this week and loved my appetizer and dessert, but found the filet a bit average for 32 dollars. At that price (in Springville), the meat should melt. No, I didn’t pay for prime grade, but still, it’s a filet. I do love Magleby’s. I always have. Sadly, I can’t imagine Magleby’s without the roast beef.
6 stars out of 5!. On 04/28/2012 my daughter’s formal dinner wedding reception was held at Magleby’s The Grotto in Springville. The food and the staff were nothing short of superb. Several guests made a point of telling me how delectable their meals were. Also, the staff ably and discreetly accommodated 15 extra guests who hadn’t RSVP’ed. I highly recommend The Grotto as a wonderful reception venue.
Perfect!. I’ve eaten at Magleby’s a number of times over the last couple of years and it seeems to only get better every time I go. They have new specials to try off their regular menu that are unique and high quality and I LOVE their buttermilk pie, even though they are famous for their chocolate cake which is pretty good too.
Magleby’s Great Food!. I love the food at magleby’s and I have eaten there for years. I would highly recommend this restuarant to everyone.
BEST FOOD IN TOWN. Magleby’s in springville is awesome. the building gives it a classical feel while the grotto is a great fine dining experience. if you’re looking for a great date night and a way to impress that special someone, take them to get a steak down there! i had the new yorker and ive never had a steak that tender! it was awesome… three thumbs up in my book (if thats even possible). you wont be disappointed.
