UPDATE..another win from Bill White. We went first week he opened. Terrible. BW made it all right. Nothing to not like. We all loved our food, beer was cold, chips and salsa outstanding, server very attentive. Portions were very fair and fairly priced. Certainly will be back.LAST UPDATE. it was like a flashback to when they first opened…but worse. My chicken fajitas were sitting in 1/4 inch of grease. The chips were bland, the salsa was terrible which was odd because we had always loved the salsa there. Daughter had 3 bites of her chicken burrito and my son said his chicken fingers were greasy. Will not be going back.19 Apr, 2014Vegas in PC. My son was impressed as we entered but over it by the time he finished his crappy burger that had to be ordered twice. Service is terrible. It wasn’t even busy. Shocked this is Bill White’s place because we love all his other places according to my AMEX statements.
New experience. Last night we decided to try a restaurant we had never been to. The shiny toys and decor at Billy Blancos are over the top for sure. The atmosphere borders on a chain restaurant in my opinion. That being said, from my vantage point at the bar I could see a few of the staff huffing and puffing over what seemed to be stress. It was a Monday night and they were not that busy. The young waiter who served us tried valiantly to do a good job. His accent was very heavy but he enunciated his English so I could understand him. Thank you! He had a bright smile and an excellent attitude. Girls, I was not particularly comfortable at the bar. The bar stools might better suit big guys. The padding is hard and unforgiving, the chairs anchored to the floor. I’m a Park City full time resident and a life long athlete like many Park City women, I need a bit of cushion under my cycling bum! I would think bar was designed as a moneymaker for sure. After all, lots of restaurants make their money on alcohol – fair enough. If the food lived up to the decor it would be a slam-dunk. I could easily see the kitchen staff working away at what looked like timely delivery. Good job guys! I’m sure they were preparing exactly what they were supposed to be. Yet, it would seem to me that for the amount of money spent on this venue, the recipes could use some investment too. I’m not a very picky person when it comes to food but tasteless is tasteless. The spices seemed out of a food-service mix and the chips out of a day or two old bag. Not asking for 5 stars here but a better attempt would be nice. I’ve been around food service for 30 plus years and have been in thousands of kitchens. I never want to slam anyone and I’m not slamming Billy Blancos. It just seems to me that this endeavor is trying to be a lot of things to a lot of people and that’s a big undertaking, Im sure they are up to the task. However, if I am eating out I do want to like my food. Im middle of the road on this venue at this point and my bum is thinking try a booth if you go back.

Service is still the worst. Decided to give them another chance tonight seeing as there was live music off their deck and was sorely disappointed again. Waited for 10 minutes at the hostess desk without ever seeing anyone once. Forget it, I’ll never go back again.
A bit too…. Food (we had taco sampler with carnitas, short ribs, and blackened fish and the fried chicken) seems to have good quality ingredients and professional preparation but to our tastes items seemed to err either on side of a bit too bland or slightly too spicy. Very generous servings. Earnest service. Decor is over the top but amusing,especially to mechanics manqu. Resident chair maven declares that these are most comfortable seats in the metro area–firm but forgiving. Patio faces northish but is shielded by other buildings from major Interstate noise. View is not pristine mountain scenery but pleasant enough. This is in a building just south of the commercial strip visible at the south Jeremy Ranch exit.
Great Park City Find!. I went with some friends that had been to Billy’s a couple times previously. This was my first time visiting Billy Blanco’s and I loved my whole experience! The atmosphere was great, I love all the attention to detail and incorporating the car details into everything, even going over the top in the bathrooms. While waiting to be seating we were hanging out downstairs with the kids and we ended up meeting Bill, he was so friendly and even took the time to really visit with the boys. It made their night! Bill recommended the fried chicken and it didn’t disappoint. Portion sizes were great, and we left full! Can’t wait to go back. Way to go Billy Blanco’s
