This is one of those hole-in-the-wall treasures, the kind where you make a friend for life with the one person who runs this place. It’s out of the way in an older residential neighborhood. Everything about it looks questionable. But then, this place is at the other end of the spectrum from most of today’s burger joints. And that’s a good thing.The burger was really good, juicy, with lots of flavor. The onion rings were a bit overcooked, but otherwise great. And upon checking out I had to try a cookie. There was a cookie sheet on the counter full of huge cookies. It tasted homemade and was loaded with chocolate chips. It’s a little pricey, but I’m actually ok with it–I’d way rather give my money to her than to the competition.This is a real food kind of place, and it was full of real people. I will be a regular here. I highly recommend going out of your way to check this place out.
