You’d think I’d know to steer clear of new restaurants until they cold establish themselves better. Looked online and their menu looked delicious so I had to go. My husband and I waited in what appeared to be a short line for approximately 5 minutes (it seemed longer, trust me). I was prepared to get what had made my mouth water, the Kahuna burger and Volcano Fries. We approach the cashier and low and behold they are out of burger patties, the injustice I tell you! I was forced to get a noodle bowl with the sweet pork instead. Took a seat and waited, and waited and waited. I could visibly see others who had been waiting since we were in line STILL waiting. We waited about 15 minutes and got our meal before a group of gentlemen who had sat down long before us did. The noodles were my least favorite soba noodles (I just personally don’t like soba noodles) and the veggies on top were tiny and chopped up to smithereens. The pork was delicious. Sweet and tender, I liked that part. My husband got the fish tacos with rice. I tried a bite of the rice, as you do to your spouse, and it was pretty good. Like a coconutty curry taste to it, he said the tacos however fell short of good. He rated them at about a 2. When he lifted them up all this juice came running out. A steady stream of juice for a good 5 seconds. He also said there was hardly any fish in the tacos. I’ll give this place another shot and go in a few weeks when they hopefully have burger patties but unless that’s just out of this world amazing I won’t be back.
