Overall thoughts: decent. Meats (brisket, babyback ribs, chicken wings) had good smoke and flavor, but the sides need a little more creativity. The beans taste like canned beans with added leftover brisket. Mac and cheese is velveeta poured over noodles. Hushpuppies were pretty good though. The sauces are average.
MMM. My family loves this place!!! They really know what they are doing.
Huge Disappointment. My friends and I were spending the weekend in St. George and we were looking for a big dinner after a long day of hiking. We don’t come down here often so we arent familiar with the good and bad restaurants. But this one is definitely bad. The woman at the front desk, Rhonda, was impatient and inhospitable. She snapped at us because we didn’t order fast enough and then when we did order, she turned around to yell and swear at the other staff while they were answering other customers questions. All this might have been forgivable if the food was good, but it was terrible. Before I get into the actual taste of the food, I’d like to point out that the portions were disappointingly small. The brisket was cut in thin slices and 50% of it was fat. The small amount of macaroni and cheese they gave us had a thick layer on it from sitting out too long. The cajun fries were anything but spicy. The chicken wings and the ribs hardly had any sauce on them and they were both extremely dried out. We were dissatisfied to say the least and we won’t be returning.
We had the ribs in a long wait at 40 minutes to get our food. The food was okay but wasn’t anything to write home about. If you do we dare stick with the pulled pork and brisket and the wings.
Rib Tips. I’ve been a resident of ST. George for 15 years and we have lots of choices of restaurants here but THE BEST FOOD so far is the D.U.B.’S restaurant. All their food choices are so good and I am a good cook so I can tell the difference. The RIB TIPS is my favorite order to go and the coleslaw is Yummy. I also ordered a Full Slab with a friend on a Friday night with Free live music while eating and it’s the Best place to go….The food is so delicious and the quality of their service is excellent….Keep it Up! A Food Fan of D.U.B.’S
Good good but…. Friendly staff, great food, reasonable prices, hot food but…We were after a large family table and food took :32 from order to table. Not acceptable. Also, menu on the wall was confusing and lettering too small to read.
Amazing!!!!!!!. DUBS is the place!! So much food for so little price. There was live music, food was amazing all around and we have left overs for later!! Kids loved thier meals and my little boy couldnt stop eating the cajun fries. Give them a try, you wont be disappointed.
