The food is GREAT the hostess with the blonde hair.. not so much. She seems to have an expression of desire to vent about irrelevant matters to all she comes in contact with. I also heard she eats food off customers plates if any of the employees friends come in. Other than that, great restaurant!
Enjoyed a nice breakfast with the family. Service and food were very good. I agree, much better than chain breakfast spots. Support the local estabs!!!
Horrible. The food here reminds me of my 5th grade school cafeteria food..phoney mashed potatoes, kernel corn…straight out of the can canned this …canned that…..no fresh anything here..you can tell they shop and buy the cheapest products available!…if you like flavorless food you’ll love it here!
Horrible Service. Four of us waited up front for about five minutes as at least 6 employees ran around, no one even acknowledged us. After we were sat, once again no one even came over to the table, we walked out. There’s alot of places to choose from in St. George for breakfast, Bishops isn’t one of them.
No downsides whatsoever. Bishop’s is cheap, delicious, serves breakfast all day, and the atmosphere is laid back and social. The servers are engaging and personable. The owners, Darby and Theresa, have continued the traditions laid out by Grandma Bishop: unbelievable made-from-scratch pies, the homemade raspberry jam, and making every customer feel like family. Definitely a gem in southern Utah.
Fast, friendly service. Good breakfast. Reasonable prices. New location open since 2/11.31 Mar, 2011Bishops is open in new location.
Bishops now Dorthalee’s Cafe. Bishops restaurant has closed and now has opened as Dorthalee’s Cafe. The restaurant is completely refurbished and decorated and the food is inexpensive and now has comfortable home cooking, served well. Look for a new review when the restaurant is updated with the new management.
