I would definitely go back. We arrived at 11 am and they were just making fresh sushi rolls. There variety was limited but good for a Buffet. All there plates were hot and clean. They have a Hibachi, which is were they have fresh veggies noodles and meat to make you whatever combination you would like. I love this. My meals are cleaner this way and that is what I look forward too when I go to a place to eat. The service was nice. floors are clean. I would recommend this place.
Awful. The worst. Hated every minute there. They seated us in the back with all the other non-asian people. Do not go there.
A kitchen nightmare. This place is a mess. Most of their dishes sit too long, turn cold and go mushy. Their sushi sits too long as well, flavors are off. The raw meat sitting in the Mongolian bbq area was being handled with the same tongs as the fresh vegetables. The cook should really be the only one handling raw meat. And the ice cream bins were old, stale and the dirty handles of the scoops were in the ice cream. What is edible here? Eating here was a stomach turning experience. The food is questionable, inedible, and the flavors are terrible. How is this place not shut down?
Shocked!. The food was good but they screwed up my take out order, I ordered the Shrimp appetizer you get 8 shrimp, when I got home and started to unpack the food I seen they gave me 7 orders of the shrimp, no wonder my bill was so high, I called them up to complain and they said to bring the shrimp back tonight and they will reimburse me. I said I live 30 minutes away so I will bring it tomorrow. they called me back half an hour later and told me to bring it tonight so they can serve it to customers as tomorrow It won’t be good. so I took it back and got reimbursed. That’s just to disgusting, will never ever eat at this place again!
So far it’s the best Chinese buffet I’ve eaten at so far in Utah. They were constantly refilling the food so the food was fresh and hot. The selection is ok but maybe I’ve been spoiled by the crab legs offered on the East Coast. I was disappointed there wasn’t anything in coconut sauce. I would probably come back here if I was in the area
Miss Fortune?. Caution food was not served at proper temps the raw meats were scarysome food was way coldthe heated foods not hot at proper tempthe shrimp and fish way over cooked and mushy
Much left to be desired.. I was driving down Redwood on a Sunday afternoon looking for a place to eat when I stumbled upon the grand openining of the Fortune Buffet. The name seems adequate since it cost aFortune to get 3 people seated. What caught my eye was the Sushi. The sushi was disgusting and revolting. They didn’t prep the rice correctly, they didn’t wash it leaving a starchy and earthly flavor. It did not taste like sushi. The other items were fairly bland and disgusting. The cucumber they used was bad. The taste of that gets on everything leaving bitter nasty flavor. You have seen one chinse buffet, you have seen them all. I wouldn’t go here again. The only thing they had going was the location was new and cleanly in appearence. Everything else from service to quality left much to be desired.
