Not Cajun. I am from south Louisiana and this is not how crawfish is cooked! The crawfish comes in a bag and has a greasy sauce. The crawfish were expensive. To let everyone know THIS IS NOT HOW CAJUNS COOK CRAWFISH!!!
Pretty good. We got the crawfish, clams, and snow crab. Crawfish are decent but just not enough meat. Clams were pretty good, get with butter sauce. Stick w/ the snow crab and shrimp!
Seriously? No Crawfish!. Buckets O Crawfish is a slightly disappointing SLC restaurant. I was very interested in this restaurant because it was something close to creole but we were quite short changed. When I decided to eat at this interesting diner (because I am partially from the south) we were devastated because they had no crawfish. The snobbish waiter said there was No Crawfish! Talk about being shortchanged. But luckily there other food was amazing! I loved it how you would first choose a fish, then a flavor and then the amount of spice. We got the crab. We might not come back here unless their crawfish is delicious.
Fun and different dining experience.. My husband and I finally made it over to Bucket O’Crawfish after wanting to try it for the past few months. It was a fun dining experience, to say the least. You can order a variety of shellfish, in a variety of sauces/flavors, spiced to your liking (mild to very hot). Be prepared to get down and dirty with your food because it is a hands on meal. You do get a bib and I believe can request plastic gloves… but where is the fun in that? It was delicious and the atmosphere is casual, which consequently so is the service. But during such an interactive meal, who wants to be bothered by a server!? Our drinks were refilled when needed, which is all that mattered. We will definitely go back and bring friends with us next time!
Went last night with my brothers. The food was good. I don’t think the crawfish are worth the cost, but the shrimp and clams were fantastic! We added sausage to our bags and it was NOT tasty, it was just plain gross. That being said, I would go again and not waste my time or money on sausage. My brother who dislikes most seafood really enjoyed it and said he’d go back. The wait staff was nice and helped us figure out the sauces and menu. Crazy mix medium was the best by far.
Better than Boiling Crab. I’ve had the pleasure of trying both Bucket O Crawfish and Boiling Crab. I like this place better. Their sauce their sauce and their sauce. Gotta try their garlic butter sauce. Not a big fan of crawfish, but we usually order shrimp and clams. Yes – it is quite messy, as long as you pair it with your favorite brew and you’re good. We always bring family here when they come visit Salt Lake. So far everyone liked it. Glad we have this place here locally.
Get Crazy Hot!!. So Whenever I go to Las Vegas I eat at Hot and Juicy Crawfish after I saw it on Man vs Food. It’s awesome! Well now we have a place like that right here in Utah! WIN!!! Great fried catfish too! My favorite Clams!!!
