Manager was unprofessional. I can’t believe their chicken is so overpriced. I bought 2 family packs and asked if I could have lemons and he asked the cook for 2 lemons in front of me. Then I asked if I could have more cause of all the chicken and he said sure we can sell you more lemons its a dollar a slice. And started talking rude and disrespectful. I won’t say their chicken isn’t good cause it is just the service was horrible. Last time I’m going there.
Who Knew?. I live minutes from this great little restaurant and had never tried it until tonight. We had chicken enchiladas and cheese enchiladas. Both were delicious! The green sauce was delicious. I loved the hot salsa from the salsa bar and was pleased when we got to take our little container home! The service was friendly but not overbearing. I will definitely be back and using the take out or delivery service.
Pollo done right!. Most taco shops and street carts around the valley serve dry, shredded chicken in their tacos. But not this place. Their charbroiled chicken is excellent….juicy, tender and very flavorful with just enough char to it. My Peruvian friends even come here because Pollo Royo’s chicken tastes so similar to the flavor of rotisserie for a much better price. They also serve very tasty carne asada tacos here, with a lot of meat on them. And their accompanying red chili sauce is perfectly made, hot but not overwhelming.Service is some of the friendliest around, though sometimes they can be forgetful. The dining area is very clean and arranged pleasantly. El Pollo Royo cooks some of the best authentic Mexican food in the area.
I tasted the pollo tacos. The meat was a little dry, but the chili sauce was very good. Not as good as some taco cart food. Overall, B-.
