Korean BBQ with style.Bibimbap with ALL the sides. Delish! Appetizers and starters that go on forever. Lots of vegetarian options, the menu is a never ending list of temptations.Korean pork bbq (bulgogi) is also very excellent. You’ve got to put it on your ‘must try’ list. The dessert is good enough to visit Myung Ga for all by themselves. Lightly spun stands of frozen amazing with flavor added personality. A bit pricey but worth it.

I ate lunch today at this restaurant based on a recommendation. Very big disappointment. I ordered the lunch box special with the short ribs at the recommendation. Of the hostess. There were 5 short ribs provided, each one about 2 inches long by one inch wide. I literally got one full bite of meat out of all 5 of the short ribs. The rest of my meal included some tofu soup, white rice, 1/4 orange and some fried vegetable. I got about $2 worth of food for $14.00…that included the $2 tip I left because I didn’t want to penalize the waitress who was very nice

Horrendous.. Arrived to a packed restaurant with what appears to have been only 2 waitstaff working. Should have been 6-8 waitstaff working. Needless to say only ONE person in our party got their food. And I noticed other customers were wondering where their food was. Conclusion: if owner is too cheap to hire enough employees, they are probably too cheap to purchase quality food. But since I never got my food it is really a bit unfair to judge the quality.

Sad they moved. My family have been going to this place since we moved to Utah in 2003,I am sad to see the prices go up and up while the portions have gone down, down.I do not like the new place I loved the old place just like the previous post the old place felt like you were part of home. it was small and nice, my family enjoyed it alot. we might go back once in awhile but not once a week like we used to.Go back to the old place and move your Japanese noodle house to the new place. you will gain tourist which might be good for your business but us locals are here to stay and would have brought you steady flow of customers.

Don’t like the food. Disappointed about the food. I ordered a stone bowel of rice, it covered with some vegetables, but when you mix the rice with them, there is no flavor. Besides the price is very high, i don’t think it’s worth.

Miss the old place. Myung-Ga is my favorite Korean restaurant in the Salt Lake Valley. I must admit I liked the old funky location better than the new one. I felt like I was part of a small family environment even when it was hectic–that was part of the charm and I was happy to sit in the broken spring booths among family. The new place seems sterile and I miss the old place. As far as food, definitely try the tofu pots. Kimchi tofu with grilled pork is my favorite dish. The side dishes are delightful–such bursts of flavor. The tofu pot is brought sizzling to the table and you crack a fresh egg into the broth then stir it around to cook. Eat it with rice and the side dishes. I like the Korean Barley Tea (Bori Cha) with my meal even though it is a bit on the weak side at Myung-Ga. You have to ask for it.

Nice staff and establishment. Had the kimchi soft tofu soup and BBQ pork, in LOVE with the soup! Great flavor and textures especially with the egg and kimchi added. The pork was tender with nice flavor, lots of sides with nicely done sticky rice. It was a tad pricey for the portion sizes.
