This place has horrifying customer service. Their menu is ghetto. You can’t read half the menu, and they were visibly frustrated when we asked for an appetizer suggestion. Our server just said ‘107’, however 107’s description is covered by a shoddy photoshopped photo of a blurry foodstuff. So logically we asked what was in it since we cant read it. The server then said, ‘It is in the picture.’ There’s random placed photos everywhere not placed in any form of order. The food is average, nothing special to make it stand out against all the other pho spots. I ordered a Vietnamese iced coffee that he brought twenty minutes later in a to-go cup filled with ice and appearing to be half drank. They are abundantly staffed but it feels like it is social hour and not a job. I saw no excuse for the mistakes and neglect we received as they arent busy. I will not return and I will be making sure no one else I know does either. We will stick with Green Papaya.

Food was good but very bad service. The manager or owner who took our order just sat there and ate also didn’t refill are water and also other service gave bad attitude where they said I’m off even tho there customer eating
PHO FOR SURE. One of the best Pho in SLC. Consistently good & pho comes with plenty of all the ingredients.11 Jan, 2011Better than all the rest. The Pho has all the ingredients necessary to make good Pho. Platter of vegetables was large & all fresh. The Pho entrees are more authentic than the other Vietnamese restaurants catering to an American audience. This is great. The decor is pretty good, but not cozy. Other than that I would have to say 8.5. The broth was pretty excellent also. Plenty of Thai Basil too.

Such variety. Saigon is great when you are looking for some traditional Vietnamese food. They offer a lot of different dishes, not just pho. They also have FREE brown rice iced tea with free refills, so I just go crazy drinking tea when I eat here. The bun here is okay (not wild about their fish sauce), the bahn xeo is INCREDIBLE. Light and crispy and HUGE (there are two of them too!). It can be kind of a pain to eat since it’s so messy but it is well worth it. I think that’s probly my favorite thing on the menu. Oh and they also offer $2 bahn mi’s. Two dollars. That’s probly the cheapest sandwich I’ve ever seen considering it is an actual delicious sandwich rather than a patty on a bun. Good good food.
