Truly Awful. Ambiance – there is none. It’s a rundown room with a sombrero hung on the wall. Ordering – they screwed mine up and since they don’t speak English I was lucky to have a Spanish speaking friend with me, otherwise I may have never gotten it corrected. Food – I ordered steak fajitas. They were dry, bland, and didn’t come with any fixings (no shredded cheese, sour cream, guacamole or any of the other things I’ve come to expect when ordering fajitas). Just came with refried beans and rice. Price – way overpriced. I paid $12 for the fajitas, which is more than they cost at most restaurants that give you larger portions and the aforementioned fixings. I would not go to this restaurant again if they paid me to eat there.

Very Authentic and Tasty. My wife and I ate dinner here with family. We all loved the molcajete! All the flavor from the onions, cheese, nopales, jalapenos, chicken, beef, and shrimp left us wanting more! We would also recommend the fajitas and the posole. If you want authentic Mexican cuisine, this is the place to get it. The prices are reasonable, and the atmosphere is laid back. The only downside is if you want a margarita with your meal because they don’t serve it there. 🙂

Molcajete was okay. The house specialty appears to be the Molcajete. Not because anyone told me that, but because 90% of the patrons had ordered it when we were there. My buddy and I tried it too and I’d say it was just okay. The beef was way too tough for my liking. The chicken and shrimp were good though. Overall, I’d say the flavor was good too. But when you consider the tough beef, the average chips and salsa, and the average-to-poor tortillas – the overall experience wasn’t good enough for me to want to return.
