The Sweet Tooth Fairy has Gluten Free options available at every location except for their West Valley location. I have been to this location several times and always told they didn’t have any Gluten Free Cupcakes. I finally asked why they never have any GF cupcakes available and I was told I need to call the day before I want GF cupcakes. I don’t always know I’m going to want a cupcake the next day, sometimes I am out and about and decide I want one or my husband and I will decide we want a treat and want cupcakes, but we have to drive out of the way and go to a different location. It’s quite annoying!
Some great, some not. This location is cleaner and more attentive than their Draper place. Avoid fruit and cheese cake based cupcakes as they are much too heavy here. Their double fudge tastes like a boring brownie. But their Salted caramel and Peanut Butter and Chocolate are just excellent.It’s a nice place for an occasional snack.
All in all, this place is just ok. I have yet to find a rocking cupcake place in SLC. We’ve been here three times and have tried a variety of different flavors and some are better than others. I liked the cheesecake but the Oreo, salted Carmel, and raspberry lemonade didn’t knock my socks off.
