Fantastic. We have been going here for a long time. sometimes getting old favorites, sometimes trying things we haven’t seen anywhere else. have never been disappointed. the owners are super nice too.
Love the texture of the fat noodles. I do love the fat noodles in all their chewy glory. And while I loved the noodles themselves, the sauce in the Beef Fat Noodles was just a bit too sweet for me. Much sweeter than the noodles I remember from Shanghai (yeah, it’s been a while, and my memory’s iffy, but…). I would have preferred a more savory, funky, fermenty, smoky vibe, but that’s just me..A little disappointed in the xiaolongbao. Just frozen, but I suppose house-made xlb would be difficult to pull off in a small operation like this.Didn’t make my destination list, but if I lived in Bountiful, I’d be a regular.

Excellent Restaurant!. My husband and I are new to the area and had dinner here our first weekend in town. The food was incredible (especially the fat noodles and boba milk tea) and the service was hard to beat. Our meals arrived quickly even though the restaurant was completely full (literally every table was occupied) and after we asked what appetizers were vegetarian the waitress brought out a cucumber salad to sample with the egg rolls that we ordered. The whole staff was nice and attentive to our needs. We will definitely be coming back!
The fried rice just tastes like melted butter. Everything else was ok
Just OK. Nothing really special but this place has better tasting food than bigger Chinese or Asian restaurants in the area. But the boba tea/shake is subpar, darn it! It was what I came for. The boba itself was the instant kind. Not great. In fairness, the food is good with very reasonable prices and the husband and wife team are friendly and hardworking. I’m not being critical when I say that the food is really nothing to rave about. It’s just what they should be. I have Oriental roots myself and I’ve eaten at many Chinese and Asian restaurants, all over Asia even. So I say the food is just at restaurant/eatery level. Won’t beat our home cooked versions.
