Your Microwave Serves and Cooks Better. My husband and I are not the type to complain and send food back and are not picky eaters, this was definitely a first for the both of us. We decided to try Robintinos because the place looked fairly busy and we were in the mood for some Italian food (we judge new restaurants by how busy they are, if there is a good amount of people there, then it must be good…..well that theory is now out) Service:Took a long time to receive our drinksNo refillsOnly came by to take our order, drop off our drinks, then bring us our check. We were there for almost 45 minutes before the food came out, I really considered leaving based off of the appetizer experience…..The appetizer bread was cold and served with ranch….umm when has an Italian restaurant provide ranch with their bread…..Then another piece of bread was brought out, I am not sure if it was supposed to go with my soup, but it was a large piece of Texas Toast that was taken out of the freezer and appeared to be microwave….I normally would not complain about Texas Toast, I love it and how can you mess Texas Toast up???? I can tell you, by placing it in the damn microwave. Food:I ordered the special Chicken Parmigiana which came with a side soup of tomato noodle. I was really excited for the soup until it came out. You can tell it was microwaved, because the side of the coup where ti dripped was dried (crusty) it tasted like Chef Boyardee ravioli….if I wanted a microwaved coup of tomato soup, I could have done that myself. Then the chicken parm was served with a piece of frozen crusted chicken, that was heated up with sliced cheese on top….absolutely no flavor. The vegetables (mixed veggies) were also cold on the plate and the penne pasta served with the chicken was in its on dish with more Chef Boyardee tasting tomato sauce. My husband ordered a pepperoni pizza it tasted like the cheapest of frozen pizzas….I dont even know how it was so bad….when I walked in, I saw a pizza oven and nice pizza coming out….maybe they ran out of their own ingredients and served us a frozen pizza. We were really disappointed. The waitress did have the manager take off our food, as we didnt end up eating it. I was shocked that the manager did not even come out to see if there was anything else, or offer any apology. I would never go here again.

This place is BAD. The food is very very low quality, the price is much too high for what it is. I refuse to return here.

Just plain gross.. I hadn’t eaten here in a few years until tonight. I will never go back. My husband ordered pizza and it was terribly bland and looked like elementary school cafeteria pizza. Greasy on top of grease. I ordered the Fettuccine Alfredo with Chicken, soup and salad. The salad and soup came out at the same time so I decided to eat the soup first to keep it from going cold…it didn’t matter, it was already cold. It was Cheesy broccoli and the soup itself tasted like fake cheese…I don’t know how else to explain it, really salty almost like cheese from a can. It also had one HUGE piece of broccoli right on top. That one piece filled the whole cup and it was basically all stems! On to the salad…this was really bad. It was lettuce, purple cabbage and carrots just like you would buy in a bag from the grocery store and nothing else. They put 2 thinly sliced beets on top (gross!) and one piece of raw pepperoni…so weird. Couldn’t even give me a fresh tomato? It’s September…they’re in season! Then onto the entree. Waited a bit too long for it to come out and when it did, just like I expected, it was cold. The chicken, despite having decent flavor, was dry and chewy. The noodles were over-cooked and the Alfredo sauce tasted like it came from a cheap Ragu bottle from the store. This dish also included veggies. Soggy, tasteless and *once again* cold veggies. Lima beans (who the hell eats lima beans anymore?) soggy zucchini, more broccoli stems and a bunch of other unknown soggy veggies. Overall, the food was terrible and the prices were too high. Our waitress was nice and filled our drinks promptly but forgot to add my sauteed mushrooms to our order so my dinner didn’t have them. Also, the bread was completely tasteless. One positive I will say, their ranch dressing was good. Probably because they didn’t make it themselves.

Nasty Overpriced Food. 10 years ago the food was decent but not sure what happened. The chicken alfredo tasted like the noodles had been boiled in chicken broth and then they poured cream of chicken all over the top. It wasn’t even good. The garlic bread was tasteless. Don’t waste your money or time with this place. Do yourself a favor and drive the extra 10-15 minutes to the next city and find an Olive Garden for better flavor and value! I really don’t understand how this place is still in business!

The restaurant itself is tacky and outdated. The service was slow. The food was bland. Would not recommend it.

A Family Tradition. Robintinos is a Bountiful home-town classic. My family has been going here for years and there are several things you can count on: great pizza and salads with homemade dressing, large portions and great service! Our favorite waitress, Syd, has been there since I can remember and always makes us feel at home
