Thoughtful menu—poor execution. While the menu was fresh, thoughtful, and brimming with unusual seasonal ingredients, the fare was poor to middling at best—and at premium prices! The fact that my salmon was dry even though it was served in (unseasoned) broth speaks to the level of skill in the kitchen. And a tail piece—at nearly $30, really?? I’m sure there are good intentions and creative chefs behind the scenes, but until corporate employers start hiring (and paying more than $30-$40k/year for) experienced, knowledgeable staff, these problems won’t go away. Good luck!

Wow Vermont Can have Style!. Food: Tasty but I am not sure I like it all. A bit pricey but portion sizes are decent.Service: We sat at the bar, Service was fine. No problems.Feel: Stylish – funky stone walls and real fireplace.Thoughts: This is my new go-to place to meet for a drink after work.

We went for breakfast, our server took 15 minutes to even come to the table, then didn’t even mention the specials and knew nothing about the menu. Our food came out in something like 5 separate trips over 10 minutes, and it was decent food but nothing super special. Overall the service just wasn’t good, but the food was okay (not worth the price in my opinion).

Meh. Service was soo slow and the food was short of memorable. For an expensive burger and Fries I’d much prefer the Farm House. Nothin unique here.

I could literally eat here everyday. Even if you DESPISE mushrooms you need to have the Gnocchi. Other all stars include Cloth Bound Cheddar Fritters and Pot Roast. Great cocktails for happy hour or dinner.

Unique drinks, delicious food, great decor!. I had the chance to stop in for a few drinks and an appetizer and was very impressed. The decor has a natural feel with beautiful hardwood floors. There are a number of unique drinks to choose from and I ordered the Farmers Tan which is a twist on the classic dirty martini. There’s a pickled fiddlehead in the bottom and the rim is lined with salt and crushed veggies, it was very yummy! We also tried the cheddar fritters which are melt in your mouth delicious! You may want to order more than one order since they go fast. Overall, a great new addition to the Burlington dining scene.
