Ordered the beef bourguignon and I suggest the chef google a recipe. I got was amounted to a pulled beef in a tomato chilisauce! There was no lovely red wine base, no pearl onions, no button mushrooms and it was had nothing what-so-ever to do with that fantastic French dish. I questioned the waitress and then had to ask to see the manager despite making it known I was very disappointed. The manager stated that is how they make it. Fine, but don’t dare call it Beef Bourguignon. DISAPPOINTING and I hope they take up my suggestion to google it.
Outstanding all around! The hostess took my coat upon arrival and I sat at the bar for appetizers and drinks. I ordered a delightful Malbec from their finely chosen wine list and the camembrie cheese along with the finocchiona with fennel. The cheese and meat plates were lovely!!!! Each came with an assortment of fresh and dried fruit, jam, and toasted bread. The best part was the service from the bartender, Caulo, and the relaxing live music that began at 7pm. I HIGHLY recommend this restaurant for anyone passing through Burlington!!!!
Great service and food!. Was surprised to see all the negative reviews about service. I frequent Leunig’s and the staff is amazing! Most recently we had Shanna B and she was so wonderful! Knowledgeable, friendly, and efficient. Don’t believe all the bad reviews- the staff will treat you well! Great food too 🙂
Errol NH Visitor. The coconut cashew salmon was a nice dish, however the beef bourguignon was very peppery. Nice wait staff.
We had a wonderful lunch here while the farmer’s market was happening. We were seated at a nice table outside. The people watching was fun. The Nioise Salad was excellent and big enough for two. The steak was perfectly cooked.
I will return after having had a delicious meal and can’t wait to try more.
Visiting from out of town, had a fantastic meal. Can’t believe the complaints about service (you should try living in Miami Beach), was there with my sister, 10 and 12 year old daughters, and couldn’t have been treated nicer. Would definitely go back.
