I want to like this place.. I love the location of Smitty’s, great friendly atmosphere in the north end. We waited at least 45 minutes for menus and about the same for our food.. That was understandable due to the cute little traveling hockey team who arrived just after we did. Our cocktails were overflowing with ice and weak, the ceasar salad small and the $9 I had to pay for 3 mushroom caps was unfair I thought. What topped it off was the cook came out of the kitchen with a huge bandage on his hand saying he cut the end of his finger off. I went home nauseous.
Great!. Smitty’s Pub has improved so much! Their food is amazing, there is something for everyone! Great atmosphere, Staff is so nice! The owners, Ed and Michelle, so nice and accommodating, and kudos to having such a great restaurant! Smitty’s is just what the north end needed! I recommend any burger from there!
Good Times, Great Eats!. Even though it’s a local sports bar, It’s got way more to it. Owners Michelle and Ed, Work there and create a family friendly atmosphere. Many locals come in, so if your new, You can mingle with many of the locals here. Definitely worth the drive from wherever you are in Vermont. Great Beers on tab, and 50 cent wings are great! My husband and kids always suggest coming here for our family night dinner outings! Love catching up on my football or baseball, a bit noisy but Iove it!
Why oh why. The menu options are all brown. Seriously there is very little color to any of their food. It is pretty crappy food and the waitstaff is not great. I have tried to like this place so many times and I just had to stop. They really need to change their menu.
