Pay no attention to those poor reviews, they are meaningless. I’m an icecream snob! I also love yogurt. SoYo is NOT icecream, thus can not be compared to icecream. It is fat free yogurt, healthy and of simple ingredients and this is what the flavor represents. If you’re after sugary chemical yogurt go to TCBY or Ben and Jerry’s for fatty flavor-galore icecream, you’re not going to get that here. The prices are quite fair given the quality of the product. I’ll be back again.. and again.. and again..

SoYuck – Don’t Bother. When we walked in we were very hopeful that SoYo would be a great local alternative to the other ice cream shops and soft-serve stands around. Unluckily we were pretty disappointed. The first thing we noticed is that they had only THREE flavors on the board. Seriously!?!? Only THREE?!?! We got the Java with high hopes. The consistency is exactly like traditional soft-serve ice cream. The taste was only lightly flavored coffee and totally UNSWEETENED. It was exactly like your average yogurt, just slightly colder! I’m not exaggerating this fact. The next thing we noticed was the prices; fairly steep for the size, especially considering that it looks like they are using simple soft-serve ice cream makers behind the counter. Aside from the $ per portion size, the additional ingredients and toppings are not cheap either. We got two smalls with ONE topping each and the tab came to around $10!! Granted, they have quite a few fresh fruits and such to choose from but seeing as the yogurt comes plain other than flavoring (no fun chunks of anything), be prepared to PAY heavily for your small enjoyment. The location is uninviting and inconvenient too, with too few seats inside and NO seats outside. Have fun sitting in the small front parking lot!Don’t bother with this over-priced pretentious place. If you want the same taste experience just go buy your favorite flavor of yogurt at your local store and put it in your refrigerator for a couple hours and save yourself from the hassle, expense, and disappointment!
