Don’t do it.. The grinders used to be good, but now I wouldn’t bother. I’ve lived in Castleton nearly my whole life. The bread is terrible, you hardly get any meat, and they are overpriced. The baked goods are tasty, however. One thing that really irritates me though, is we called at 20 of 9 to order a grinder (they close at 9). They informed us they couldn’t make a grinder because the ovens were off. Even though the sandwich had nothing to do with the ovens. Don’t claim to be open til 9 if you really aren’t. If you’re in the area, go to the coastal deli instead. Honestly, I can’t believe this place has gotten any raving reviews.

Awsome. I went to the deli as a suggestion. It is a small little place but the staff are super nice. The Grinder was huge!!!!! and it was only like 7.50 for a large. It fed me for 2 meals and I have a big appetite! oh and the tax was included in the price of the sandwich!!!! How cool.
Best Grinders in Rutland County. If you’re really hungry and looking for a great grinder, look no further than Castleton Corner Deli. The service is always speedy (aside from the lunch rush, but that’s to be expected) and very friendly.You get so much food for the price it makes you wonder how they make money on the deli!
