We had a really great time at the Common Man tonight. Very friendly servers and great food. Everyone was very attentive and they were even great with my kids. The whole restaurant sang happy birthday to my dad. They even had ouzo which made my dad very happy! Very pleasing dining experience. We will definitely be coming back next year!
Awesome experience. The Common Man was anything but! Great cozy ambiance with lots of exposed wood, great lighting, and a big fire in a big hearth. The food was delicious and quite fairly priced. The bread was great, the beet and mixed greens salad (delicious!) and soup appraisers were tasty, and the filet mignon and duck mains were perfectly cooked with excellently complementing sides. The only thing that was a bit of a let down was the cheese plate, which was three rather unexciting cheeses from France…a bit of a disappointment when one is in the heart of artisan cheese land!The service was quite attentive and pleasant. All in all, a truly lovely meal for a very fair price.
