We brought my mother here for lunch to celebrate Mother’s Day. We had the spinach salad and Vermont cheddar soup. Both were very very good!!! Service was excellent. And it was fun to shop in the store when we were finished. (And to watch the glass blowing downstairs.) Very nice restaurant!
A Vermont veiw. The veiws from this place are amazing. This is a nice place. I have eaten dinner, lunch just stopped by to share a bottle of wine or ate a bowl of soup on a cold day. Always as expected. Good food great service.
Gorgeous view, lovely dining room, attentive server, nice wine selection. The food, however is gruesome and highly overpriced. Had to send my tasteless ravioli appetizer back. Wish I hadn’t when the impossible to cut and chew shrimp crostini arrived. The wild mushroom soup was a cup of thickened beef bouillon and the tiny fried calamari over a bed of wilted arugula looked liked someone’s leftovers. The menu is tired and needs updating. Time for a refresher course chef. Get out of the mountains and head to the city for some new training. This classy spot and its customers deserve much better fare.
Always a delight. Attentive service, and delicious food can always be found here. They have a cheddar soup that we all adore. The view is just lovely. This is one of my favorite spots to have lunch.
It was good food but not worth the prices. I had the shepherd’s pie, which tasted great, but I would have been just as happy with a hamburger that didn’t cost as much. Other than that it had a great atmosphere.
Sterling. Everytime- everything from the hostess to the person clearing our table – is perfect. I eat out al lover the place – for business and pleasure. The food is flawless, the service is fantastic, the atmosphere is perfect. I love Simon Pearce and own a lot of their glass and pottery.
Wonderful ambiance, terrific waterfall & covered bridge view from the terrace. Food was amazing & service was friendly. Worth the price.
