Our family visit Ludlow a few times a year.DJ’s Restaurant always on the list, warm friendly staff wonderful athmosphere , always great food and a very reasonable priced menu.Richard the owner a great person always taking care of his guests and very important his staff speak very highly of him.Thank you all and see you soon at DJ’s.
Great place for American-style dinner! The duck and Prime Rib are both phenomenal choices…would definitely come back here.
We have been going to DJ,s since Jim owned it it’s been close to 30 years. Richard now serves a great meal always the best meats and honest value you can find. If your lucky be sure to try the prime rib or NY strip. Consistent and always filling! You won’t leave hungry.
A must-do every time I’m in town. I only get to Ludlow once or twice a year on average up from Long Island, but DJ’s is always on my must-do list. Hot rolls with butter, a delicious and generous salad bar, awesome food, delicious drinks and very friendly service! To put it simply, I would have to have several bad experiences before I would ever even think of stopping going there. But of course I’ve had zero bad experiences and only many, many happy meals and memories! Love it!
DJ’s Restaurant. First of all, this restaurant is in LUDLOW, VT, NOT RUTLAND, VT.and the food is absolutely underpriced, I have probably eaten at DJ’s two hundred times in my life and never been disappointed. The portions are out of this world. All the locals love this place.
Birthday Celebration 2010. We are at DJ’s at least once a month, year round and have never been disappointed with the food. We live locally and it is at the top of our list of Vermont favorites!This last visit, 8/3/10, happened on my husband’s birthday and we had family members from out of town along with us to celebrate.I called ahead & told Sue that it was his birthday and again reminded the hostess of the same upon our arrival. When time for dessert came the server asked us if we wanted dessert & we all declined, thinking that a a portion of something would be arriving to mark my husband’s birthday. When nothing came to our table, I said it was his birthday & she informed us that no one wanted to come over & sing (very unimportant)…still nothing for my husband came to our table. I left the table & told her( privately) that I had called ahead & therefore was expecting something to arrive for him…she apologized & offered to bring something o er…a bit too much after the fact to make me a happy camper!!! Sadly, I was so very disappointed for my husband & felt really badly that there was nothing for him…I would have had something prepared ahead of time at home if I had known that this would be the way his birthday would end up. I’ll think twice before coming to DJ’s again for a celebration…a regular dinner,OK,
