Stopped in here on a whim after a swim meet. Manchester is a funny town that seems o have limited casual dinner options. As a previous reviewer mentioned, bring cash!! Our family had mixed reactions to their meals. I tried the garlic chicken which was supposed to be spicy. No heat at all, and the dish lacked any real flavor. This combo plate came with fried rice and an egg roll. The fried rice was your basic, and the egg roll was mediocre at best. Child one had chicken and broccoli. She liked the broccoli, but wasn’t crazy about the chicken. Child two had the sesame chicken. She enjoyed her dish. She did share and I found that her dish indeed did have the most flavor at of everything that we tried. The service was decent, we didn’t really feel extremely welcome in the restaurant. Bottom line here, the food was less than average. I can’t recommend this place nor would I plan on returning. I’d pack my own food before going here again.
Phenomenal. This was the greatest Chinese place I have ever been to! The people are warm and nice and their food is phenomenal. I’ve been to many Chinese restaurants and by far, this has been the best one. I don’t know what the other reviewer is saying but China City is by far the best. I wouldn’t usually stick to one Chinese restaurant but I have continuously gone to China City and love their white broad chow fun noodles, happy family, lo mein and fried rice.

I don’t like that if you order two dishes that both come with rice, they combine the two rices into one container of rice. I think it’s a cheap way out. last time my husband ordered the General Tso, there were teeny tiny bones all through the chicken, almost like fish bones…he couldn’t eat it. Not sure it was really chicken.
