Eek. I’m sorry, but this is not Italian food. The waitstaff was horrible and the food wasn’t any better. Don’t waste your money.
May 2012 visit. Mussels were spectacular! Arugula salad was phenomenal! Vodka penne was delicious! Brownies with Wilcox ice cream was to die for. Will definitely return on my annual visit. Service was unbelievable, very warm and cozy atmosphere at the bar.
Nasty. DON’T WASTE TIME!. The eggplant rollitini came ia red sauce similar to a jar of Ragu. Or ketchup. I cannot believe people have been going here for years and thought this was real italian food. Grimey! The waitstaff was inexperienced as well and servers slammed my beer on the table to drop off and walk away. Grade of D. It would’ve been an F but we did like their garlic bread. Not saying much, hard to mess that up… DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME!! GO TO LANEYS OR ZOEYS INSTEAD!!!
DELICIOUS!. For the past several years, my friend and I visit Manchester Center, VT for one weekend a year. Both nights we absolutely HAVE to eat at Garlic John’s! The Gorgonzola dressing is fantastic! Every meal I have ever ordered here was absolutely delicious! I just had the Chicken Marsala, it was great! You cannot beat the friendliness of the staff at Garlic John’s! They are wonderful people! They remember us, even though we are only there 2 nights a year!
