Fantastic!. My family and I have been visiting Manchester, Vermont for over 25 years, and for many of those years we have actually called in advance to make sure the Roaster Cafe was open during our stay. That’s how much we love the food and the atmosphere. It’s part of our vacation. We have found (since we are people watchers too) that the visitors are the impatient rude people. The service is great. The food is fantastic. Usually there’s a line outside during the peak season, and many have agreed that it’s worth the wait.
Not Exactly Worth the Money. We had the cock a doodle do and though it was good tasting, it was small portions for the price. The diet coke tasted flat and more like RC cola. The scrambled eggs tasted like eggbeaters. Overpriced for breakfast. $45 for 3 people????
THE BEST. We just had breakfast at a new cafe and Manchester and the Rooster remains the absolute BEST breakfast in town! Better atmosphere, better food preparation and better choices than any other place and we have tried them all. Anya knows how to cook!!!
How about this. Read abo…. How about this. Read about the bad attitude but decided to go anyway. Walked in and guess what?Bad attitude. Walked right out. Get a clue people. It’s called the service business. If you can’t be nice to people don’t be in the people business.
Great lunch; bad attitudes. The food at this little cafe is fresh, good, and often imaginatively prepared. Most folks rave about their breakfast fare, but I’ve enjoyed their burgers, salads, and sandwiches. Unfortunately, despite the great food and the country charm, a chilly attitude is pervasive. Service is efficient at best, but unaccommodating, and in some cases (I’m a people watcher—my dining neighbors fared worse than we did.) downright rude. No credit cards.
Highly recommend!. Excellent breakfast! Quaint little cafe.
