Outstanding. My wife and I had dinner here last night. It was wonderful. My wife had a salmon dish that she raved about. I had a chicken dish from the specials menu. It was moist and crispy. It was one of the best dining experiences that we’ve had in some time.Chef Chamberlain is quite creative and she follows up her creativity with culinary expertise that anybody would be lucky to find.I give The Perfect Wife 4 stars out of 5. The only shortcoming was the light application of the delicious vinaigrette dressing on my salad. But, that’s a personal preference. We will definitely be back

Poor Service/Overpriced. I have been going to this restaurant for years and the last few years have just been a big let down. The service is slow and rude and the portions have gradually gotten smaller and smaller. Also, the food is inconsistent from repeated trips. There aremany other options in this area of VT that I would rather go to (Bistro Henry’s!).
Awful Tavern. Poor menu choices, bad service and the food was less than average. Stay away from this place.
Overpriced. Expensive, poor service, fast food type cuisine. Avoid
Tavern is fabulous. Tavern is very different than restaurant downstairs.
