Did we meet Ponce on a bad day?. Yikes. We showed up for lunch with a reservation at 1:00, and didn’t get drinks until almost 2:00. We had seven people and were served only five waters… no silverware until we’d received our food and asked for it… meals came out ten, fifteen minutes apart, so we ate in shifts. The whole operation took almost three hours, and then the staff rushed us out so they could seat another party. The food was fine, but by the time we got it, we didn’t even care anymore. Hopefully Ponce was just having a bad Saturday?

A Gem!. We were visiting Stratton with our UVM daughter and decided to try this restaurant for dinner. It is a BYOB. Fromstart to finish, we had a lovely dining experience. We lovedthe ambience of Ponce, set in a house, with it’s eclectic,romantic atmosphere. Our server, Pat couldn’t have beenmore welcoming.We loved our entrees, especially the veal and the porkchop. For dessert the three of us split the bread pudding and the chocolate mousse cake. They were excellent!It was especially wonderful to have the owner Ron come outof his kitchen to welcome us and inquire how everything was.We will definitely be back next time we are at Stratton and would highly recommend this restaurant if you are in the Manchester area!
OUTSTANDING!!!. Went for lunch today & we were blown away. The Parsnip &Pear soup was GREAT, the Shepard’s Pie(not your common pie) was UNREAL, the Northern Turkey PHENOMENAL! Pleasant surrounding & the staff very friendly. Cost was worth every penny and they have some of the best espresso we’ve had outside of Italy! We’re just sorry we didn’t find this place sooner!
