The food ws good but the service could have been better

Ewww. My clothes reeked of grease for 2 days after my lunch there. My last meal there.
Have been going to the Double Hex for years, went back after not being in the area for a long time. Food was pretty mediocre.
Don’t waste your time. You can make / re-heat this quality (if not better) of food at home. The service did NOTHING to redeem the lackluster meal. Zero drink refills offered or received, even though both beverages on our table were empty for the last 15 minutes of our meal. Not a single employee thanked us on our way out, which was the perfect way to end our meal, since we felt like an inconvenience to the staff for our entire visit.
Fabulous lunches! Try the homemade soups.
Go meatloaf or go home. Get the loaf, you won’t be upset… grade of B overall. DO NOT GO TO GARLIC JOHNS!!! NASTY!!! GO HERE OR LANEYS INSTEAD!!!
