Good place but……. They stopped selling Sushi! We were there about a month ago with the intentions of getting sushi and they sat us down. When they gave us the menu there was no sushi menu so we asked and they said they stopped selling it. They did not say why. When were very disappointed and will probably not go there as much because of it 🙁
We were very surprised to find how great the food was at this restaurant when it first opened. We expected it to be on par with other Asian restaurants in the area. Sabai Sabai far exceeded our expectations. Try the Tom Kha soup, crab rangoons, and Pad Thai!
Good food, good atmosphere. MIddlebury is seriously lacking in good restaurants (there are a few however). Sabai Sabai filled a huge gap in the ethnic food department when they came to this town. The food is good, some of it is very good. Overall, I like it and intend to go again.
Food is fast and fresh. Prices higher than Chittenden county but that’s to be expected.

An update to my earlier review. It’s sad to say but the quality of the food here has gone downhill since they opened. At times it’s just like eating take-out Chinese. I’m going to this place a lot less frequently than in the past.29 Mar, 2012A nice addition to Middlebury restaurant choices. We are sorely in need of decent Asian food here in Addison County, and this restaurant is the best in the county, hands down. The food is fresh and consistent and the staff is friendly and helpful. Lunch is a great bargain. The atmosphere also is beautiful – lovely decorations and open feel.
