Birchgrove Baking is a cozy bakery located in Montpelier, Vermont. Every day, we prepare an assortment of breakfast pastries, scones, cookies, cakes, and tarts, all baked from scratch daily. We also offer house-made warm, fresh doughnuts on Sundays and, seasonally, our own ice cream pops, in addition to coffee and espresso drinks. Of course, we also offer wedding and birthday cakes and would be happy to work with you to plan the perfect cake for your event. I stayed in Montpelier near Birchgrove and went there every morning for coffee and croissant. The tiny coffeeshop has interesting gifts and is quiet and private, with good coffee and food.
I must admit I was a little concerned when the case had only a few items. However, the savory scone with goat cheese and corn was delicious as was the caramel chocolate bars!! Definitely will go back!
Off then betten path from the main stream. Nice place to stop for bake shop items. Great selection and Great prices. A hidden gem and we’ll worth it.
