The Black Krim is a lovely restaurant nestled on merchants row in Randolph. They strive for food that is high quality, creative, and reflective of local cuisine. We loved our experience and will definitely go back again! This is an excellent spot for young people to gather. It reminds me of my time spent in the small bars of the south, always welcoming and forever comforting.
So Disappointing. My friends and I were on a fall foliage trip and had read outstanding reviews on this restaurant. We made reservations. We were the first group to arrive. We were disappointed in the ambiance, but our waitress was sweet. They have a very different menu and didn’t have many good choices. I ordered the coconut shrimp. When we FINALLY got our entrees, mine was cold. The shrimp was also undercooked and had no flavor whatsoever. I let others taste it and they agreed. We thought this place was very pricy for the portions received. I was really disappointed in the restaurant. My group will not be back again
Wonderful Food, Wonderful Wine. We made a reservation for my husband’s birthday dinner, and that was a very good thing. The place was packed, but one of the owners greeted us, asked a few questions about what kind of wine we tend to like, and recommended a wonderful wine. The food was fantastic. I was amused to see the comment about the small portions, since that was something that we prefer. Always sad to leave food on the plate, and it’s never as good the next day. We had the pork chop with cumin potato pancake, and I had the fish cakes, and a wonderful pear fennel tart. Our daughter had noodles with butter and Parmesan that she said reminded her of childhood. The bill was so reasonable, we were shocked. This place is a keeper!
Very good fresh ingredients, fresh and different plates everyone you go. Locally supported. Friendly service. Fun decor. Would absolutely return next time im in town.
We went as a family of 4: 2 adults &2 teens. Very nice ambiance except for the screaming 2 year olds in the background. Hard to hear anything over the din. Pricey little plates. Hard to find food my teens would eat. Not really worth the money we paid. This was a first to leave a restaurant hungry.
