We came here while visiting family and were impressed with the menu of locally sourced food and the interesting preparations. I had a scallop dish that was excellent. We enjoyed several apps and desserts, and everyone loved their entrees (even my very young niece who ate more in one sitting than I’ve ever seen :). What a great spot!
Delicious choice for local foodies — you won’t be disappointed. Stopping in Rutland for an early dinner, we almost missed out on a delicious meal and a very satisfying overall dining experience due to a few recent reviews. Apparently we’re not the only ones who thought so — the restaurant was full to capacity despite the hour (about 3 p.m. on a Sunday). Loved the information about farm suppliers in the entry way. Quick and gracious service, every item beautifully prepared, and a lovely decor. We will definitely go again next time we are in town.
Mediocre at best. Was seeking authentic VT farm to table fare. Had Beet salad and it was great. Ordered maple pork. It was extremely bland. Sent back and ordered flank steak. It was good but did not blow me away. Ate at bar and bartender was friendly. Service was great on a busy night.
Blah blah blah. Ok we get it… You use local VT ingredients from local farms good for you! Now don’t make all the hard woke those vt farmers have put in to producing those ingredients be wasted by not having the balls to season your food!! Over thought, under seasoned, not good for the price. So tired of theses pretentious eateries who forget its about making the food taste good, and not so much about how trendy you can be and how cool your paint colors are.
Had a very nice dinner outside. Dog friendly sidewalk! Food was delicious and service was attentive. Definatly recommend!
