  Good Food, Good Service, Needs Better Bread. Nice little sub shop on Woodstock Avenue just east of the center of Rutland City. Pretty typical culinary fare for a typical sub shop BUT a.) the ingredients are fresh and generous, b.) the service is fast and pleasant, and c.) the hours are quite extensive, unusual in an area when many other businesses seem to be open only when it suits them. My only wish is that they’d use better bread; what they’ve got is OK, but nothing special, and it’s something of a shame when everything else (from meats to cheeses to baked goods) is a few notches above in quality. Still, it’s only a minor complaint, and overall T&L is well worth the trip.

  This is the best sub shop in the state, hands down. People are extremely friendly, service is fast and subs are out of this world! If you want a good eat, stop here.

  Best by far!. When I lived in the Rutland area, this was my absolute favorite place to go for lunch. I moved across the state (to Burlington) a little over a year ago, and I haven’t been able to find a sub shop up here that even comes close to T&L’s. There’s a good chance this place makes the best sandwich in the entire state. Highly, highly recommended.

  Yummy. One of the best deli subs we have had on our trip form Oklahoma to the east coast. Would recommend to everyone..
