Whatever you choose off the menu you will be very pleased. The Village Snack Bar is the best food in Rutland. The owner, David is a really great guy. You will love this place and the onion rings, holly cow they are good.
If you have been driving in the car all day this is a great stop to stretch your legs and grab a sandwich, fried potatoes, eggplant, sweet potatoes, and ice cream. Indoor and outdoirseating. Locals get their name called when their food is ready, travellers get an order number. The fish sandwich was fresh and so was the homemade tartar sauce. Pick off the iceberg lettuce and under ripe tomato. The mango smoothies was good, but in my neighborhood we call this a slurpee or slushie.
