First time at the Guild … Great meal great service … One of the best New York Strips I have had in Vermont. … If not the best ….It is a bit pricey but worth every penny … Looking forward to going back soon
Well Done. My husband & I had dinner here a few months ago and we were very pleased with our meal. We ordered the BONE-IN DRY AGED RIBEYE FOR TWO (30oz) and it was cooked perfectly. Everything was delicious – we will be going back for sure! It’s pricey, but we thought it was worth it.
Best Meal in Years. My family went out for my daughter’s graduation from UVM. We made an evening on the meal, a full 2hrs. The drinks, appetizers, salads, entree’s, desserts and coffee, were all fantastic, beyond expectations. Christina, our waitress, was wonderful.
Valentines Day Dinner. We went there tonight for Valentines Day and it was OK. The chowder for an app was delicious, salad was good, but nothing to rave about. I got the filet mignon ($46) ordered it medium and it came out pretty much well done. It was dry and charred on top and bottom. Definitely not worth $46! I ended up sharing my boyfriends steak with him he got the Ribeye, med rare – highly suggest that. Service was great. Drinks are out of this world strong, you will definitely get your monies worth there. I ended up telling our waiter that the steak was overcooked and he happily took it off the bill. The manager came out and appologized and offered us free dessert too. We passed on it but I’m sure it would have been good. Overall good experience and nice abiance for a nice relaxing meal.
Overall I enjoyed Guild. Their steaks are great but i found their sides to be very average. The service was a little spotty but they had only been open for a week at this point. The interior has some extremely cool decor elements but then has cheesy pleather seats. We’ll go again.
Went for drinks and dessert and had a wonderful experience. Very knowledgable staff and the dessert was delicious.
