Not good. My wife and I have frequented Bonefish in the past and tonight was our latest experience in at least three years. Although the Bang Bang Shrimp was fine, the Corn Chowder with Crab soup (the only soup they have at this location) was poor quality. My wife ordered a filet that came out overcooked, dry, and unseasoned. It came with mashed potatoes which were fine and some sort of Mac and cheese with bacon which was gross. I ordered ahi tuna sashimi which came out cold, something Ive never experienced before. Typically its seared briefly and then plated so its a little warm but this tasted like it came from a refrigerator more recently than a stove or grill. A subpar experience and we will not be returning.
Consistently Good!. Go to place in Charlottesville! Food is cooked very well- good skill set in the kitchen. Great flavors, good service and nice atmosphere. Bang Bang shrimp, dumplings and ceviche is very good. Sea bass with mango salsa is my favorite, but have no worries ordering anything from the daily special menu.Give them a try, you won’t be sorry!
