What a great little GEM! Fabulous food and service.
We had 23 guests at a pre-wedding family party. The happy couple chose da Luca. Dominico was an excellent host. Ryan, the chef and Patrick the bar tender and a young lady did everything to make our evening outstanding.The food was delicious and beautifully plated. Tapas was a fairly new idea to most of us. Ryan prepared about 5 tapas dishes, served family style. All were delish but the hit was the shrimp and grits. It was an outstanding party and da Luca came through in spades.
Sitting here at Daluca waiting for delicious food. It becomes more and more apparent that this restaurant is settling in to be one of the best in Crozet. Staff is cool and makes for a cool experience!21 Nov, 2013New Menu Is Awesome!!!. If you haven’t been in a while, I highly recommend repeat visit! Da Luca has a new menu that gets back to the original tapas style they had a couple of years ago. The selection is much improved and the portions are just right. They are tapas portions, so if you’re expecting a full plate you’re probably going to be disappointed. Dishes are creative and meant to share. It’s great because it gives you a chance to try several different dishes in one sitting. I was very impressed at the improvement of their menu, and look forward to trying some more new dishes that looked very interesting.16 Feb, 2012Great Addition to Crozet!. It’s so nice to have another quality dining option in Crozet. The tapas are fun to share with friends and family, but if you want a plateful to yourself then they offer entrees and sandwiches too. I love how there’s something for everyone, and the atmosphere is classy, yet relaxed. Can’t wait to sit on the patio in the Spring with a glass of bubbly and admire the gorgeous views!
Consistently outstanding food. Everything I’ve tried has been excellent. Beautiful views of the blue ridge mountains and a great wine selection. I can’t wait to come back!
Had, at best, a mixed experience. Portions were large but quality was lacking. Desert tasted like it had been in the cooler for 2 weeks.
Great Value. I recently dined at Da Luca and had a wonderful meal. The gnocchi was tasty with perfect texture and the ribs – out of this world. The bartender told me that the employees have plots in the local garden and will be growing produce and herbs. That’s music to the ears of a localvore. The staff is knowledgable and fun and the atmosphere has an understated elegance which I found relaxing. Pricing is better than reasonable for what you get. I can’t wait to eat there again!
Pffft!. Over priced, marginal food. No Really……how is this place still in business. Must be the local drinking hole.
