I know I’m an outlier, but I just don’t get it. Donuts are too heavy and rich. The toppings are simply a head fake to the fact that they only serve cake ( no yeast) donuts. They really need to focus on management and customer service or this could be a quickly fading fad. We showed up on a Friday at 10 am to an empty store and it took 20 minutes to get our donuts. Staff moved slow, seemed disinterested and lacked inventory.
Not Impressed. We went to Duck Donuts to see if it was worth the hype. Unfortunately it was not. They do top your donuts to order, but the donuts are made on a conveyor. Our donuts were undercooked and doughy in the center. They only have cake style donuts. The selection of toppings was a little underwhelming. For the price I was not upset, but I would not go out of my way to get donuts here. They are no better than Krispy Kreme or Dunkin’ Donuts (or even better yet SpudNuts). So if you are in Stonefield and want a donut fix, then go ahead and get one here.
