Happy. My entire family loves Trailside! I love all the local specialties like the ice cream and coffee. And my kids love the smoothies and ice cream as well. Friendly service makes this a really great spot!
BEST coffee. My husband and i are both pretty picky about our cups of coffee and trailsides coffee is our absolute favorite! we recently moved to thailand but we still have our family ship us a pound of regular and a pound of decaf as needed 🙂 the owner,marcia, has put a lot of time into making the shop comfortable and welcoming…and you can tell! it is always clean and the staff is helpful and polite! and it could not be located in a more beautiful spot! anyone looking for a new and refreshing place to relax and have their favorite drink should try this place out!
More than just a great cup of coffee. Obviously, Trailside Coffe makes a really great cup of Joe. Perhaps less obvious is the fact that Trailside does other things well too…the smoothies are excellent (my kids adore them), the hot chocolate is truly sinful, the panninis are out of this world and the Chaps ice cream is always worth the trip. Add to this the friendly, helpful staff and the cozy, warm atmosphere and there is no need to go any where else… Trailside Coffee rocks!
Yum!. Trailside’s coffee has all the characteristics of that perfect cup – strong, smooth, creamy, and aromatic. And as an added bonus they have lots of food and other drinks to choose from, all to enjoy in a warm and inviting location. I’m a freelancer, so often choose Trailside for my meeting locations – my clients are always impressed and I think I have turned many into returning fans.
Event Coordinator. I love Trailside coffee…In the morning when I go in for coffee not only am I getting a great cup of coffee but I feel so welcome. The food is amazing so fresh. The restaurant has a beautiful sunset view surrounded by the Blue Ridge Mountains you’ll come back time after time ..enjoy

Trailside Coffee rocks!!. Every time I go in to Trailside Coffee I immediately feel welcomed and at ease. The aesthetics are warm and inviting. The smells are heavenly! Their coffees and smoothies are delicious. The panini sandwiches are out of this world! They serve Revolutionary soups, plus a few of their own that are worth the trip alone. My children love the Chaps ice cream and the hot chocolate. Over all it’s a great place to pop in for a quick cup of coffee or to sit for an hour and enjoy lunch and a good read.
