Great for the price. Hibachi Grill offers excellent value and is my favorite buffet restaurant in Charlottesville. It is unpretentious and child friendly. The staff are courteous and they offer a wide range of dishes including kids meals as well as salads for the calorie conscious. Some of their food choices are absolutely delicious; I would particularly recommend the fried rice as well as fresh meals prepared on the Hibachi Grill. Also, for sushi lovers, their California rolls are excellent. For the price, Hibachi Grill is unbeatable.
A Total WASTE of Hard-Earned Money. The food was cold. It wasn’t fresh and even the pastries were hard like they had been sitting there in the open for two days. I ordered a nice tea…they asked sweet or unsweetened. I said unsweetened and what did they bring me? A Dr. Pepper. They obviously don’t listen to their customers.Stay away from this place or you’ll be disappointed and waste your hard-earned money.
Not gourmet, but an abundant variety of excellently prepared food, all for a reasonable price!

Not a good experience prefer Asian fusion buff. We were not happy with this buffet, seems like a lot of the same thing with a little different sauce and we do not go to places such as this with high expectations but still we found this disappointing. We much prefer the smaller selection but much better food of the Asian Fusion Buffet.
Very disappointing. I was excited to give this place a try, and my excitement remained as I walked in — a wide selection of dishes and buffet bars. As I slowly sampled them, however, I came to the conclusion that every dish tasted the same. Nothing had a unique flavor or was particularly stand out. The sushi, while definitely buffet sushi in quality, was at least palatable. However, while at the sushi bar — someone dropped the tongs on the floor and proceeded to pick them up and set them back on the plate of sushi. None of the staff seemed to notice or care. Disconcerting for sure!
