Delicious. I have been here many times and have loved it. Im excited for their Grand Re-Opening coming up on March 2nd. I can’t wait to see their new look and new menu. I know from past experience that they definitely won’t disappoint.
Too expensive for what you get. Food is fairly decent – their chowder is probably the best around but is expensive – even for the small cup. Service is slow and bad. Weird to have a confederate flag sticker on the front door… Has potential but far from getting there. Paid too much for both the food and service.
Really great homestyle family cooking. I had the meatloaf sandwich which wad excellent – light meatloaf and herb mayo made it . Wife had burger and enjoyed it. Also tried the chicken boodle soup which waa like grandma’s. Definitely recommend.
Great Southern Food. My family and I love this restaurant!! Everything is made from scratch and the smoked pulled pork is to die for. They have great soups in the winter and everything is priced great. A must try!!!
Overpriced!. I stopped because of the Southern cooking on the sign..The special on the sign was sandwich, fries, and drink for around $5.99. I walked in and ordered bbq sandwich and she says oh thats not the special its tuna! I didnt want that so I said just give me a bbq and fries to go..I recieved my food and went to pay and she said that will be $ 10 and change! I nearly fell to the floor! No drink just bbq and fries which tasted horrible! I got this to go and they didnt give me any utensils or napkins..nothing! DO NOT EAT HERE UNLESS YOU WANT AN OVERPRICED MEAL!
Went for breakfast. Prices reasonable. Portions minimal at beat. Too much butter/oil or something. Let’s just say it didn’t set well as evidenced by repeated trips to the restroom!! Maybe a bad day in the kitchen. Don’t know and don’t care as I won’t be trying Southern Way Cafe again!!
Shrimp and Grits are AMAZING!!!!. The Shrimp and Grits are AMAZING as well as the BBQ!!!!!! Loved the red sauce he makes, will have to try the Carolina next time!
